Celtics Reportedly Interested in Trading for Isaiah Stewart

The Celtics enter the 2023-24 season with Al Horford and Robert Williams III as their leading centers. While that isn't necessarily a bad thing, it has been clear for some time that Boston needs to make an upgrade at the position.
The Boston Celtics have reportedly been very active on the trade market according to MassLive’s Brian Robb — and we have heard rumbles regarding at least one of the players the Celtics might be interested in trading for according to The Athletic’s James Edwards III. Per Edwards, Boston (among other teams) has inquired after the availability of Detroit Pistons big man Isaiah Stewart.

Stewart, 22, is coming off his best statistical season in Detroit, averaging 11.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 50 games during the 2022-23 campaign while shooting 44.2 percent from the floor. #isaiahstewart #Celtics #nbatraderumors
