Disasters At Sea is a series about the most perplexing and deadly marine disasters of our time, recreated through the visceral first-hand accounts of the seamen and women on their worst day, and for some, their finest hour. In each story, there are heroes who exerted herculean efforts to save their colleagues. But there can also be villains, both intentional and accidental; whose negligent or incompetent acts meant demise was inevitable. These often-conflicting reports leave the cause of the sinking unknown and mysterious.
