Stroller, came from the Manchester area started in the 1980s when the line up was Terry Hadfield, Brian Imrie, David White and Jim Hand.

By 1990 which saw the release of their Stroller cassette album the line up was Terry Hadfield (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Peter Bethell (lead guitar), Jim Hand (bass guitar, fiddle and lead vocals)
and Les Paine (drums and lead vocals), Terry Hadfield had previously played with Stockport based band Colerado in the 1970s.

Following the death of Terry Hadfield Stroller folded but were reformed as Desert Wind in tribute to Terry. Andy Liddie took Terry's place in the new linup and the band are still playing today either as a trio following Les Paine's retirement from playing.
