Final 747 Flight 'Chief Pilot' Paul vd Ven @ KLM

Captain and 'Chief Pilot 747' Paul van de Ven operated his last 747 flight in his career. Flight KL893 , RWY36L, operated with B747-Combi reg PH-BFW.
Wingman FO Marcel Ruitenberg was PF at KL893 and Captain Paul was PM.
The weatherconditions were outstanding with beautiful clouds and several rainbows. It just had to be.............
Backflight KL894 with an arrival on same runway, for landing RWY18R, and operated with B747-Combi reg PH-BFT.
An awesome smooth landing and a great pink background.
Ofcourse it's painful when you need to say goodbye to your beloved B747.
After 50 years KLM will stop flying the 747 fullpax and 747 combi.......
