- Spitfire MJ755 was delivered to RAF Lyneham n December 1943. In February 1947, MJ755 was taken on charge by the Greek Air Force. The aircraft last flew on 8th December 1953. The Hellenic War museum in Athens displayed the Spitfire for many years. In 2007 plans were started to get MJ755 restored to flying condition. 19th January 2020 Piloted by Pete Kynsey MJ755 performed its first flight since 1953 , watched by Flt Lt George Dunn DFC who had delivered MJ755 to the Greek Airfroce in 1947.
