I do occasionally get messages lamenting they've been losing monies and sometimes it is big money. Some insist that they want to get it back quickly and that's human nature. When we think we can alleviate the loss the pain of the mistake will go away. As human beings we seek pleasure and not pain which is why we like to eat junk food which are not great for our long term well-being. Devastating losses are normally unexpected; most of the time it is one or two trades that cause people to go on tilt. Now I've experienced losses myself that were way bigger than I wanted. When you've suffered a big loss you need to fight the urge to recover the funds quickly because that's when that big loss could transform a devastating loss. And I've seen people who have suffered heavy losses only to turn them into catastrophic losses. What's done is done. STOP TRADING if you've suffered a big loss. If you keep trying to undo the damage immediately you are gambling. You are in the worst possible state to trade. Don't measure your self-worth with your trading performance!
