Fake or Break: The Current Landscape of Fake News Games

This roundtable presents research from a wide variety of research that has examined games centered on disinformation or 'fake news'. The panelists will explore perspectives related to health, politics, culture, class, and more, while also examining the design of these games, and why so many of them follow similar design patterns, ending with a call to action for new explorations of this area using new and different designs and styles of play to reach new audiences.
