WALLY GANYON - KITCHEN PICKIN - 1982 (FULL ALBUM)

Formally an RCMP officer, Wally Ganyon was primarily a Canadian country musician, singer-songwriter in the '70s and early 80's. He was much loved and adored, by many.
Wally's lifelong dream was to get an album of his 'own' songs published and he finally did it!
His album was published in 1982.
His dream realized, he set off with his family on their bus to promote his album across the major Canadian cities.
His daughter Tammy told me that he was so excited!
On his way east to Toronto he decided to take a shortcut through the U.S. from Manitoba but the bus broke down halfway from there to Sault Ste. Marie in the middle of the night.
Wally got out of the bus to try and repair it, with his family asleep in the bus when he was tragically struck down by another vehicle and was killed instantly.
Wally's bright light was extinguished too early. He was only 34, but his legacy and spirit lives on through his awesome songs in this album.

Thanks to Wally's immediate family's permission, his wife Kathy Ganyon and his daughters Jackie, Tammy and April (Moncton, New Brunswick) I am so happy to be able to finally upload the full album here on YouTube for anyone who may be interested to hear it.

-I did my best with the limited photos there are of him and also with the studio program I used which does not create the smoothest of transitions in some parts.
