Olive Barrel Modification for Canoe Tripping

Olive barrels are great for storing gear or food on canoe trips. They are durable and waterproof but if you use them for storing food they can be difficult to hang in a tree.

I demonstrate a quick and cheap way of adding "U" bolts to the top of an olive barrels.

This is strictly for canoe camping, I wouldn't want to carry one of these backpacking. ;-)
