Our baby room is slowly coming together and it's so surreal thinking that we’re meeting him very soon! 😭 I sometimes get so emotional over the thought of growing a little dumpling baby inside of me. Of course, I’m so excited to share this journey with you guys as well. 💖

Weeks ago, Sheryl, Slater’s sister did her first very mural work in our nursery room! I was thinking about how we could make the nursery a little bit more special, and this was the perfect solution. The room was already in a muted shade of gray, and a statement wall was the easiest way to add a little creativity and character to the room. I thought of adding geometric shapes, polka dots, even safari-inspired jungle scenes before eventually settling on this sea-scape. Can I just say-
IT’S BEAUTIFUL! 😭 *insert overly emotional pregnancy hormones here* I love how everything was so perfectly executed- from the choice of paint from Island Paints and the little details (even the cute little elephant!) that made the whole sea & sky concept come together. Sheryl did such an amazing job, didn’t she? We love it and hope you do too!
