Introduction to Probability: Basic Concepts
This tutorial is an Introductory lecture to Probability. All of the basic concepts are taught and illustrated, including Counting Rules such as Combinations, Permutations and assigning probabilities. A tree diagram is used to understand probability graphically, the addition rule, multiplication rule, and conditional probability formulas are illustrated using formulas and numerical examples. Independent Events vs. Dependent Events are also discussed, as are the rules for mutually exclusive events. There is a lot information in this tutorial, you will need to take notes while you watch it so you can refer back to the numbers and follow along. The last part of the video reviews the formulas used in the tutorial, again, make sure to write those down.
