Twine - WWII veteran's VR experience, returning to town liberated in 1944

For Remembrance Day 2016, Twine (https://www.twine.fm) enabled a World War Two veteran to travel back to a town he helped liberate in the aftermath of D-Day - through VR. This video is what he saw.

This VR experience, created with the help of Mutiny Media (http://mutinymedia.co.uk) allowed Chelsea Pensioner, Frank Mouqué, to revisit Armentières, in northern France.

Through VR, Frank took in the town's square, which he first marched into in 1944; sat in a conversation with two residents who were children at the time of the liberation; was sung to by local children; and had an audience with the Mayor of Armentières, who ultimately presented Frank with the town's highest honour, through VR.
