Here at Symbio, you can get behind the scenes and have your very own encounter with these adorable animals just like Beth is having.

In the wild, just like here at Symbio, Meerkats have a very close family unit (called a Mob, Clan or Gang) with the Matriarch (Mother) being the boss of the entire family.

Everyone knows their place, and there will always be one member of the family on Sentry duty. This is a very important job for a meerkat as they are in charge of keeping an eye out for danger and alerting their family if they see anything to worry about.
