The biggest feature of this year’s National Geographic Taiwan photo contest is that firstly, we added an astrophotography category. It’s for photos of deep space, the Solar System and the skies. We hope to invite more photographers who pay attention to wild animals and shoot photos of wild animals in a friendly way and ethical way.
Giant Liou
Taipei Amateur Astronomers Association chairman
We encourage everyone to go to a place with less light pollution to capture the pictures.
The National Geographic Taiwan photo contest is now in its eighth year. Photographers can submit their entries starting April 16 till July 13.
