“Keeping The Dream Alive” is probably the best known song by German group, Münchener Freiheit, whose name means Munich liberty in English. That song was featured on the group’s fifth album, “Fantasy”, which was also their second English language album.
“Romancing In The Dark” was their first English language album. Its German language equivalent was entitled, “Traumziel”.

Such was the distinctiveness of the group’s harmonies on “Keeping The Dream Alive”, that Freiheit’s sound is instantly recognizable on other discs.
