"Backroads of Montana: Episode 17 - Wheels & Wings" (2002)

Episode #17 of "Backroads of Montana" hosted by Montana TV & Radio personality, William Marcus.

We're given a look at aviary art in Moccasin, an appreciation of Montana's first airmail service in Great Falls, a visit to a local history center and historic bridge near Sidney, a trip to Snake Butte near Ft. Belknap and a meeting with a wheelwright in Deer Lodge.

Program Updates

The Deer Lodge-based wheelwright moved out of state in 2005. Darrell Martin, our guide through the tribal history and lore of Snake Butte died in April 2007.
