Hawaiian Wall Art: How Māui Lassoed the Sun at Haleakalā 🌅

At the summit of Haleakalā — the "house of the sun" — the demigod Māui is said to have lassoed the sun to slow its journey across the sky, giving his people longer days. We turned that first golden Maui sunrise into a digital oil painting, hand-finished in our small Native Hawaiian–owned studio in Kailua-Kona. 🌺
