How the USSR imagined year 2017

Have you ever wondered how the people in the USSR imagined the year 2017 would be like, during the 1960s? Some of the ideas and thoughts of the Soviet Union's people seem out-worldly, while other are pretty grounded in reality, and are actually similar to some things that we have available today.

Without a doubt the USSR had many projects planned for the future, which for one reason or another were not manifested in time.
