The major obstacle to living out Principle and Foundation
The topic today is that we have to confront the reality of sin.
The important overriding reality of mercy. St Paul says: Where sin abounds, the mercy of God abounds all the more.
Pius XII said: The sin of the century is the loss of the sense of sin. It means this, we live in a world, even among Catholics, there is a loss what sin is; a lack of the formation of one´s conscience. We become desensitized, we become resistant to the truth. With Ignatius, the primary focus is not on sin, but the love and mercy of Jesus Christ. We have to recognize that if we meditate on sin without mediating on God´s mercy, we are cast in desolation
The greatest sinner in the world can become the greatest saint in the world, if he trusts in Jesus. Jesus I trust in you.
The TRIPLE SIN: We are going to beg for the grace to see sin through the Divne perspective, that is through the eyes of God. Not the eyes of Hollywood, but the eyes of God. Hollywood will glamourize sin. But if you want to see sin as Jesus sees sin, look at the cross.
1st SIN: THE SIN OF THE ANGELS
2nd SIN: THE SIN OF ADAM AND EVE
3rd SIN: THE SIN OF ONE MAN
