Hi! I’m Carrieblogger, a full-time career freelancer on Fiverr Pro. Since I started in 2013, I’ve built up a sustainable, consistent business with a six-figure annual ‘salary’. I work as a copywriter and branding consultant for small to medium-sized brands around the world.

This video is a story time video about career changes how to pivot in your career and when you should start freelancing or make the switch from a 9 to 5 job to begin freelancing. The freelance lifestyle is a much better fit for me than teaching, and especially teaching in public schools. My teaching horror stories and bad experiences piled up, but ultimately I know now that it was never really a good fit. Finding a good fit in your career is so important, and everyone deserves to build a work life that they love. When my mental health was unstable, I was depressed, suffering from panic attacks, and just trying to keep it all together. This personal story is all about transformation, acceptance, career focus, and how to find your authentic purpose in work. I love my job as a freelance copywriter on Fiverr, and I wish that I had allowed myself to fully dive into freelance writing and marketing copy even sooner. Still, my story is my own and we can't change the past. We can only focus on the future and take stock of what matters most in our lives, especially when it comes to career planning and maximizing the benefits of a self-employed or solopreneur lifestyle.
