I almost didn’t post this…

Posting it as a clinician feels like a risk. Clients will see it, colleagues will see it and there’s a voice that says keep it together, keep it polished, don’t let anyone catch you mid-fall.

I’m done letting that voice win on the things that are really f*cking hard, the ones we are told to just push through quietly so we don’t make anyone uncomfortable.

And we don’t talk enough about what perimenopause does to ADHD mothers. The two collide and compound, and most of us are left thinking we are failing at something everyone else is handling fine.

My husband keeps reminding me: this is a season, and we will get through it.

Posting it anyway in hopes of you can relate you know you aren’t alone and yes, this is really f*cking hard!
