How to make a DIY poppy brooch

Wearing a poppy to show support for veterans around Remembrance is important to me, but I don’t like the idea of all those disposable poppies! So I decided to create a sashiko-inspired version that feels more in line with my values using recycled materials - supporting our veterans AND the planet!
