This game is a prequel to Delta's Shadow (see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2MQgzb0SOQ). You control Jacqueline, the events of the game takes place 7 years before the events in Delta’s Shadow, and it's plot complements the plot of Delta’s Shadow and Power Blade 2 (NES version).

It is included with Delta's Shadow v. 1.6 update (as a separate game), so if you have not already bought Delta's Shadow, this might be a reason more for doing so.
