Riku-Ansem: Safe vs Reckless (Short) | Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Final Mix

Being a long time fan and lore nut who's seen tons of KH videos, I knew how infamous Riku-Ansem was, and more or less how his retaliation worked.

I was going off of a hitless streak involving Parasite Cage 1 & 2, Oogie (not his manor), Ursula 1 & 2, Anti-Sora, Hook (at least Hook himself), the Pegasus Cup (normal, solo, and timed), Hollow Bastion Riku, Maleficent, and Dragon Maleficent. I knew this boss was hard, so there was a lot of pressure and anticipation for it on my part.

I had a plan to be careful and hopefully avoid his retaliations. It was slow, but it was working.

And then, I got caught on an invisible part of that console and took a hit.

Then I snapped and just started haphazardly spamming air combos with Hurricane Blast, and that blitzed him down for the rest of the fight without taking a hit or triggering his infamous Dark Aura DM.

The takeaway here is - spam the ever-loving crap out of him. I probably would've done it hitless if I'd just started with that.
