Milo Oakland - World War II Veteran - July 17, 2000 - Part 1

Milo Oakland grew up during the Great Depression. The first part of his interview discusses his upbringing and high school life. Inicted by the events of Pearl Harbor, Milo enlisted in the Army Air Corps. He describes basic training, his tests, and flight school. He was sent to Europe and engaged in the 454th Group, 732nd Squadron stationed in Southern Italy.
