The Black Experience Moving West

This film is an episode of a five part series that explores the history of Nicodemus, Kansas. Nicodemus is a small rural town originally settled by former slaves who moved west for the promise of free land and freedom from racial injustice. The film was produced through a film fellowship with graduate students.
