GAME DEV: COLLECTABLE BERRIES #gamedesign #indiegame #gaming

We’ve just added berries to our cozy indie game, and they’re not just for collecting!
These blueberries and raspberries will act as in‑game currency, so you can trade them in the shop for gear, upgrades, or whatever you might need on your adventure.

There are two parts to how we built them:
- First, we modeled the berry bush and leaves in Blender and separately the blueberry and raspberry you'll pick in the game .
- Painted the textures in Photoshop, adding tiny details most players will never notice but that make the game feel alive.

Finally, we imported everything into Unity, added a sparkling trail effect, and now those berries pop beautifully in the environment!
