So Casey and Connor have been together for 8 years. They are some of the most relaxed people ever, and we have known Casey for quite some time, as she used to work for us. Not to mention we filmed and photographed Kelsey, her sister’s wedding 3 years ago. These people are some of the best people you will ever meet. They feel like the family that is in the movies, that just has it all figured out. We are so happy to add our names to the list of extended family for these two!

When we arrived at Sparrow, Casey and her mother Beth were right inside the doors, and super chill. That is a common theme for the day. Casey is one of the most chill brides ever, which makes our job much much easier. I don’t know if there is such thing as a perfectly easy wedding day, but this one was so close to it. No major hiccups, everything was in order, which made it so much fun. By the way, we should probably mention that Casey has been planning weddings professionally for the past couple of years, and she hired EB2 events to coordinate the day. Like seriously, one of the easiest, most enjoyable days ever. Sorry for the rabbit trail, back to the wedding day.

The girls and guys were both upstairs getting ready, and we were just LOVING all of the natural light coming through the windows. So much great footage of Casey getting into the dress, mom helping her get into it, the father/daughter first look, and the girls seeing her in her dress for the first time. After those moments, we went outside for a few minutes to do the first look. Another rabbit trail.. When we arrived the sun was blazing hot and it was about 92 degrees outside. Just in the 5 minutes that I flew the drone, I was covered in sweat. But for whatever reason, for about 40 minutes, rain clouds came in front of the sun, blocked the direct sunlight, lit the first look perfectly, and a cool breeze came behind it. We kept saying, “whoever is praying for you, we want them to pray for us!” Because it was just that perfect.

After the first look, which was super sweet, we took some time with just Casey and Connor, then added in their awesomely large wedding party. The ceremony was perfect, we may have shed a tear or two, and then it was off to the reception. Everyone had a blast as the night went on, and we just couldn’t stop thinking how thankful we were for these two.

It was my pleasure to film your wedding, and can’t thank you enough for trusting us to do so! We love you all, and can’t wait to see you in the future as your little family grows! From all of us at RP, Congrats!!
