Riding the Uber BOAT through the heart of London! (TRIP REPORT)

Who expected an Uber branded boat service to start? Well, for a year, that's exactly what's been happening for a year on the river Thames, when "Uber Boat" started being the new branding of the Thames Clippers operated "boat-bus" service serving 23 piers on the River Thames, from Woolwich in South East London to Putney in South West London, via the city, passing many famous landmarks along the way. I travelled from Royal Wharf in the Docklands to London Eye (Waterloo) in central London on an Uber Boat, going past Greenwich and Canary Wharf at high speeds before slowing down as we approach the city centre and its landmarks: Tower Bridge, The Shard, Tate Modern or Big Ben, before getting off at the foot of the London Eye which is a 7-8 mins walk from London Waterloo railway station, busiest in the UK.
