LOC JOURNEY TIME LAPSE! | pictures & videos

Hey y’all! Welcome back to my channel if you’re returning, and welcome if you’re new! I will be documenting my loc journey and I wanted to bring y’all with me!😊 There will be plenty of loc talks and chit chats so make sure you subscribe and click that bell to be notified whenever I post!!😆

I HOPE THIS VIDEO ENCOURAGES ANYONE WHO IS CURRENTLY ON THEIR JOURNEY OR THINKING ABOUT STARTING THEIR JOURNEY BUT IS HESITANT! ITS A PROCESS BUT IT'S WORTH IT AND ONLY GETS BETTER!!

*DESCRIPTION*

Month 1: VERY VERY VERY trying times! Month one was the hardest month for me, especially with my hair type & the SHRINKAGE!!! It was even a point in time where I thought I messed up my locs after a style take down, (you’ll see in the video) it was just CRAZY! I also experienced BUDDING within my first month i was EXCITED! (it’s only up from here lol)

Month 2: waaaaay better than month one. I got that retwist and boyyyyy let me tell youuuuuu, the REASSURANCE was there (who doesn’t feel better after a retwist lol). the loctician I went to was knowledgeable and assured me that my journey and the process was headed in the right direction and that everything is going great! My locs were becoming dense and hard, my hair was losing its elasticity!

Month 3: was even better! I didn’t see many coils anymore, some coils were still present in the front of my head because of my looser texture but not many. My babies really started to show out and resemble locs, they really had that loc look and I loved ittttt. they were becoming even more dense and hard, no longer squishy, spongey and soft!

Month 4: I did not get a retwist at all, I kind of just let my hair do it’s thaaaanggg okay! And I honestly loved it. i experimented with styles that I can do in between retwists and with loc jewelry. It was a great month, maybe even my best one!

Month 5: My babies birthday just passed (oct 4. 2020) and they turned 5 months! My hair is currently in a two strand twist style but as far as I can tell there hasn’t been any changes that the eye can see but I’m sure they’re still changing and forming by the second! I will do a more in depth loc update with visuals for this month really soon!
