Launch of Orange Economy

In a landmark move, UNIDO-ITPO Bahrain and the RAK Art Foundation have launched the Orange Economy Year—a national initiative celebrating creativity as a powerful driver of economic growth, innovation, and sustainability.

The year-long program includes the Global Call 2025 competition for creatives worldwide, conferences, workshops, and more, all aimed at empowering talent and boosting Bahrain’s creative economy.

Applications are open until September 1, 2025, and selected participants will be recognized at an awarding ceremony in December 2025.
