Face Masks That Are Most Effective for Containing Droplets

As the Surgeon General begs everyone to wear a mask, an important new study by Florida Atlantic University has found that some face coverings are more effective than others. Aside from medical-grade masks, the study measured how far droplets from coughs and sneezes traveled when people wore different face coverings. Bandanas were found to be least effective, with particles traveling three feet. The most effective was a home-stitched mask made from two layers of fabric. #InsideEdition
