Here I am back again with another “Inside Marketing” show. This time the conversation is all about AI in Marketing. Friend or foe – or both? It’s a fact to be sure – there’s no way we can talk about ANY aspect of marketing without the words “artificial intelligence” (or simply AI) being front and center.
And there are varying views on the subject. For many it’s a technological blessing that increases productivity and efficiency. For others, like people in the creative industry who feel their jobs are being threatened. So many marketers think they can do creative work without them just by a prompt here and a prompt there and suddenly, graphics, videos and copywriting are being cranked out by AI assistants. But is that true?
My guests are all marketing experts. Best selling author (13 books) and founder of the Marketing Analytics Summit and author of the first book on the subject of Artificial Intelligence in Marketing (eight years ago) Jim Sterne shares his current thoughts on the subject. David Berkowitz is author of the most recent book (published just two weeks ago) is brimming with the latest advances in AI in marketing. Jennifer Jones Mitchell is a leading consultant and trainer in the field of AI in marketing. And veteran marketer and founder of one of the industry’s first search marketing agencies talks about the growth of the industry and his own recently launched AI based marketing software.
