Wave Race 64 is a truly remarkable speedgame, with tons of epic speedrun world records set by amazing speedrunners. However, as happens with many speedgames, some of these runs were discovered to be spliced (cheated). In this video, we explore the discovery of such cheated speedruns, gaming analysis on what exactly happened; but also celebrate the amazing achievements of all Wave Race speedruners, while empathizing with all those involved in this situation.

Wave Race runs are honestly pretty cool, I hope to do more videos about Wave Race in the future. A Drake Lake World Record Progression video would be super epic.
