Chongqing, China

To round out our trip to Liupanshui in Guizhou Province we went to Chongqing by train before heading back to Shanghai (again by train). We spent two nights at the Ascott Hotel, right at Raffles City (the end of the peninsula). The room was around $120/night and very nice. It even had a washing machine (which was also a dryer)! We washed all our cloths. When we arrived the first evening we walked out of our hotel to one of the famous bridges. The next day we spent the whole day doing a walking circuit that is very popular. We could have spent a few days in Chongqing and not been bored. We have to go back.
