Hanna Gray, president of the University of Chicago, delivers the second annual Goldberg Lecture at The 92nd Street Y. Reflecting on her experience as a scholar and academic administrator, Gray considers what it means to lead a university–to be in the vocation of what she describes as liberal, or genuine, learning. Following the lecture, Dr. Shirley Strum, president of Queens College, moderates a discussion with Gray, including questions from the audience.
