Canadian Court Drops Gun Charges Against Khalistani Terrorist Gosal, Pannun's Right-Hand Man

A Canadian court has stayed all gun-related charges against Inderjeet Singh Gosal, the head of the banned Sikhs for Justice movement in Canada and a close aide of designated Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. Gosal was arrested in Ontario in September 2025 after police found a loaded handgun in a vehicle he shared with two other Khalistani separatists. While charges against his co-accused were dropped earlier, the Oshawa bench of the Ontario Court of Justice has now also stayed proceedings against Gosal. Following the ruling, Gosal openly declared his intent to continue his pro-Khalistan campaign without restriction.

With over 100 cases registered against Pannun and Sikhs for Justice in India, New Delhi will be closely watching how the new Carney government navigates this diplomatic minefield going forward.
