A talented Darwen singer has given his hometown the gift of festive cheer – recording a song for his brand new album to a backdrop of the beautifully decorated Market Hall.

Cormac Thompson found fame after singing beautiful renditions of his nannie’s favourite songs and sharing them virtually for her to be able to watch during lockdown.

This new video has been filmed in his hometown of Darwen, Lancashire, to the backdrop of the town’s beautiful Christmas tree and stunning Market Hall.

Cormac filmed the video, in conjunction with Blackburn with Darwen Council, to help promote the town and support its’ businesses in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
