In this video I carry out and show you my method of fault finding on a faulty zone valve.
This zone valve was removed from a job where it was not opening up as per the heating demand. And the fault was with the synchro motor.
I show how to measure resistance on the motor to prove it's dead and the show how to remove it and replacing with a new one, and then carry out a live test to show the new motor works and how the valve functions correctly!
