Otis Merritt Big O Open Modified Consi Race 2011.MP4

Otis Merritt Open Modified Tribute Race. Aug 13th 2011 at Hanging Rock Speedway in Kershaw SC.
This is the consi race to get into the Big O Race, 52 Opens tried to qualified.They only took the top five in this race to the big show sat night that sadly got rained out.

I think they started 32 karts in this consi race. There where three restarts before I got into a good position to start filming. I missed the first start 100%. The second restart there was a big pile up, that took out about 6-8 karts, because the leaders motor kept stumbling on the start. The third restart is where I started from, that is why all the karts are on the track.

The leader ran off at the start, but the pack kept catching him every lap.
Chavos is in the blue helmet running 4th and blew at the 3:50 mark. Im not sure who anyone else is running in the top 5.
