Wow, this was my first trip to Cognac! Had the most incredible week with my fellow Glenfiddich ambassadors learning about the famous french spirit of Cognac.

Cognac distilling has some fundamental similarities to whisky distilling but we were thirsty to learn more about the nuances and differences that make this spirit so loved across the world!

The first in a series of videos called "Content From Cognac" where I will show our experience learning from Sabine at Raison Personnelle, a small distillery in Cognac. This is the first video in the series with a focus on the grapes.

We visited the small family run distillery of Raison Personnelle for a day of education led by Sabine, who owns the distillery with her husband Bertrand de Witasse!

Very grateful for the experience and I can't recommend a visit to Cognac enough!
