48 Hrs. (1982) Reaction & Review! FIRST TIME WATCHING!!

I really enjoyed this movie. As one of the first, if not the first, buddy-cop film, it was a great template for future directors to build on. A lot of the tropes like the angry boss or the polar opposite characters forced to work together seemed to have originated here. Although the movie was a little rough around the edges. Walter Hill did a good Job with the directing and both Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy were great in their respective roles. The music was great, the storytelling was engaging and finally the chemistry between the leads was really fun to watch. I would recommend this movie not only as a great weekend watch but a study on how buddy-cop movies were born.
