Gel Press - Expressive Painted Layers Part ONE with Kate Crane
Get GEL PRESS OBSESSED!
Kate Crane / Kate Crane: The Kathryn Wheel shows us a wonderfully satisfying painting technique that is all about appreciating a process just for the sake of doing it with tools you have, quite literally, on hand. Kate makes wonderfully expressive prints in Part One of this week's #fromPrintstoProjectwithGelPress video! And a hat tip to MaryBeth Shaw of StencilGirl Products for inspiration in the latter part of this video. You are going to love this one.
(While we love the expressive nature of these prints, it is important to note that hand protection, such as barrier cream, while not obvious to the viewer, it should be worn when attempting these techniques. Paint safety is tested to the end of a brush, not your fingers. Create safely by wearing either a barrier cream, gloves, or working through kitchen wrap if you need to use something you have in the cupboard.)
