I first came up with the idea for CyclePak when I was training with a teammate who spent many years as a professional cyclist in Europe. He said " Denis the best advice I can give you in a race is when you are in a breakaway, always eat and drink at the back of the chain so you don't remind your competition to eat or drink." This was the best bike advice I ever got. Before this I didn't understand the importance of food while on the bike and would often find myself bonking when training/racing. I just thought I was unfit and had to train harder, little did I realise I was depleting my body of carbohydrates.
