Winter Reflection [relaxing piano music to reflect, concentrate, focus, study, enjoy]

Relaxing ambient piano music you can listen to in the background during your Christmas and winter season, as a calm soundtrack during your day, while studying, working, focusing, creating, reflecting, dreaming up new possibilities, redesigning your life or your world, as a soundtrack during your ME time, but also as calming music in the evening before going to sleep. And of course also simply to relax and enjoy :)

What a year. How we deal with Covid showed me that most country leaders actually care for the survival of our species. How we as a global nation acted and will continue to, that’s not only about stopping one little virus. Leaders know challenges like these will be more of in the years before us, simply as happenings relevant to humans will continue to accelerate per time unit. So, as tragic as an unnecessary too early end of any life might be, 2020 might have been even more than about saving the lives of a few million humans globally (hint: the health and wellbeing of billions is at stake).

Leaders know we face a few more truly rough months with the Covid situation, with the world hopefully finally getting back to normal in maybe 2-3 years. But what does normal mean after a 2020? I personally question a lot nowadays. For example about how we live on this most precious, yet vulnerable spaceship in the galaxy: Earth. Do we continue wanting to have protection by a nation-state? Probably. Protection of some sort is a nice thing to have. Will in the future (new) nations compete for taxpayers for a specific match on values? Like not only with climate protection, but also environmental protection (hello plastic, toxins of any kind...), what about making mobility by two legs (or wheels) a thing, or product manufacturing with the same set of values as I the consumer am bound to (no product made in a way I would not like to treat myself, my nature and my land)... will we, in general, choose more consciously to live in a nation, society, or country that lives and acts closer to our own values? I personally am hurt by Germany’s behavior on how we continue to f**ck up the planet and treat the people whose products we buy (from outside of Germany), and how we blind ourselves by wrong labels and certificates that everything is cool. It’s not.

I want for myself more peace, more calm, less toxic air, water, food, way fewer engine noises that mask the sound of nature and my inner voice. Maybe that’s why I started relaxdaily. To find my place. Maybe it will be a city that works without cars, with as many trees as there are humans, children playing ON the streets, people walking, laughing, dancing, singing. Or will it be a far off, lonely place where I can hear only the sound of the forest or the ocean? I will find out. I think I’ll take a few days, like a week or so just for myself in January to reflect on that.
