Mating Camels

Just when you think you've seen everything--camels mating. It is so touching the way the female kept reaching up to nibble the male's throat and face and you can hear the deep, rolling sounds that he made. I was wandering through a forest of Argan trees when I came upon this scene. Two camel herders had met and were breeding their animals.

I'm posting this older video, taken in 2010, in the interests of presenting little known animal behaviour.
