Swifties are PISSED at Burger King right now and we’re gonna tell you why

You know what they say...Hell hath no fury like a Swiftie finding out Taylor Swift was scorned

Burker King made a snarky tweet about Taylor Swift.

It all started when Twitter asked the Burger King account what their favorite Taylor Swift song was and they replied “The one about her ex.”

So the original tweets have now been deleted
But naturally, swifties reacted immediately after it was posted.

One user tweeted that Burger King’s remark was “sexist,”
Another fan wrote “After all this Burger King controversy...now I want McDonald’s.” To which ANOTHER fan responded “I got McDonald’s for lunch after all that!!! BK messed up hahaha

So like, not a good look for BK

That’s when #BurgerKingisOverParty started trending

Now Taylor Swift has received many sexist opinions about her work over the years, and she’s fired back. Like when she said QUOTE
"You're going to have people who are gonna say, ‘Oh you know, like she just writes songs about her ex-boyfriends,' and I think, frankly, that's just a very sexist angle to take, No one says that about Ed Sheeran. No one says it about Bruno Mars. They're all writing about their exes, their current girlfriends, their love life and no one raises a red flag there."

Now outside of the burger king vs swifties debate, a lot of people shared their disappointment with this feud, with all that’s going on right now with the black lives matter movement.

One user wrote, “There’s black people that are dying because of white racist police officers and instead of rising awareness and talk about it, y’all are trying to cancel Burger King... unbelievable”

Burger King attempted to raise a white flag with this tweet, writing :
“Let's shake it off. celebrate #BurgerKingIsOverParty with the $3 shake + fries deal in the app”
