Gutter downspout drainage - use solid pvc pipe -

Gutter downspout drainage is a very important aspect of any landscape drainage design. During a 1" rain event downspouts can drain 100's of gallons of water around the foundation of a home causing damage over time. It is recommended that your downspouts extend 10ft-15ft away from the homes foundation. One of the most common products used to extend gutter downspouts is corrugated pipe, but this pipe - due to design - is not the best option. A better option is to use solid smooth 4" pvc pipe which allows good push out of debris.
