Kerala Vibes – Alappuzha & a Beautiful Christian Wedding | July 2023 🌴🌊💒

In July 2023, I travelled to Kerala to attend a colleague’s wedding — my first time attending a Christian wedding, and that too in Kerala! 💒✨ Since we had some free time, we decided to explore Alappuzha (Alleppey) — and oh, what a stunning place it was! It truly has my heart. ❤️

We took a train from Bangalore to Alappuzha and checked into Zostel (check-in was at 12 PM). The beach was just 300 meters away, so we headed there straight away and spent a few peaceful hours by the sea. 🌊

After freshening up, we went out to try some local tiffin options. Most of us were vegetarians, so we explored all the veg-friendly dishes we could find. Some of us had work in the first half, so we rested and then had our meals.

Later, we visited a museum and then went kayaking in the backwaters — it was such a dreamy and fun experience! We got completely drenched but it was worth every second. 🚣‍♀️✨

We rushed to Marari Beach hoping to catch the sunset, but sadly, we missed it by a few minutes. Still, the beach had a charm of its own — so peaceful and unlike any other beach I’ve been to. 🌅

That night, we played games at Zostel, chatted a lot, and had a lovely time. The next morning, we caught the sunrise at the nearby beach, got ready, and attended the wedding. We ended the trip by watching one last sunset near our stay and then left for the railway station.

P.S.: This trip was more about the experience than vlogging, so the videos are a mix of portrait and landscape. I’m just documenting memories and learning how YouTube works as I go. 💛
