Smoked Rib Tips | BBQ Rib Tips Recipe

In today's video I'm talking all about smoked rib tips! If you don't know what a rib tip is, it's basically the top portion of a rack of spare ribs. You remove this piece of meat, fat, and cartilage when you trim spare ribs to St. Louis cut ribs. If you're not sure how to do this, I will link my video down below that explains how to trim spareribs to St. Louis Cut Ribs. Anyway's, smoked rib tips are delicious. Unfortunately a lot of people throw these tasty tips away because they don't know what to do with it or they don't have a good recipe. My recipe for smoked rib tips is very simple. Season, smoke at 300º until you have good color, about 1 hour and 45 minutes, then sauce them, get them back on the smoker, and smoke for about 30 more minutes or until tender. The combination of Party Rub, Killer Hogs Hot BBQ Rub, and a sweet sauce made these smoked rib tips recipe absolutely sticky and delicious! The best part about these smoked rib tips is you can cook them hot and fast or low and slow, just adjust your cook times. Also, these are a fantastic snack the next time you smoke a rack of ribs, heck you could even have another meal of smoked rib tips!
